Coinciding with the announcement of the first contest of the 2010 season, we're pleased to announce the launch of the new SAFCompetitions.com website to better help our competitors and fans. This new website features all the information you'll need to compete successfully in SAF events. In it you'll find contest details, entry forms, photo and videos from past competitions, plus much more.
We're also pleased to announce that our first event of the season will take place on June 26 at the beautiful Tribute Communities Recital Hall in Toronto, Canada. This gorgeous, state-of-the-art venue features a beautifully appointed stage, outstanding sound and lighting, comfortable auditorium seating for spectactors, and spacious dressing rooms for our competitors. We actually held out very first SAF event there in the summer of 2007 and we're excited to be back.
The June 26 event will feature the Summer 2010 SAF Model Search as well as the 2010 SAF Toronto Elite Challenge. The Summer 2010 SAF Model Search is open to any woman 18 years or older from anywhere in the world. No previous competitive experience is required. There are two categories, Fitness Model and Swimsuit Model, and the top-three finishers in each qualify for SAF Elite status.
The 2010 SAF Toronto Elite Challenge is open to existing SAF Elite-qualified competitors. Besides the great prizes, the top-three winners of the Elite Challenge qualify for the prestigious SAF Elite Championship this fall. You can find all the details on this website, including how to enter.
